Hi my name is Sara and building this hair straightener website is one of my newest passions. In 1995 I graduated from cosmetology school and began fulfilling my dream of working in a salon and helping my clients to feel good about the way they look.
After working for 10 years in the salon I made the decision to stay at home and raise my 2 wonderful children. I am still very passionate about the beauty industry so, I decided to help people in another way besides standing behind the chair.

The first step in having great looking hair however, isn’t just in the type of flat iron you choose but in how you take care of your hair.
It’s very important to use the right products on your hair to maintain healthy hair. You should always use a heat protecting product on your hair to help prevent breakage and burning your hair. I also recommend that you recondition (deep condition) your hair at least once a week and if your hair is chemically treated, whether it be perm or color treated, I would recommend 2 to 3 times a week.
I would also love to hear your thoughts if you have had experience with certain products and tools. You may have information that I have left out that others would benefit from so please share your comments with us.
