Any recommendations on a miniature ceramic flat-iron?
Okay, so I’m a guy and I straighten my hair. I had a small Conair and it was a piece of crap and died after a few months of use!
Btw, I have thick, curly hair. Any cheap straighteners for around that work well???
Thanks for your recommendations!
I think I’m gonna’ take a look at the Remington flat-iron!
Oh, and yes, I hate ALL Conair products with a BURNING PASSION now! ![]()

If you do some digging on Amazon, you can find a Chi for about $40. I know that’s a little more than you would probably like, but Chi is one of the best brand (in my opinion THE best brand) when it comes to flat irons, they will work on anything and make your hair look great, plus you can get them in any size.
Yeah whatever you do stay away from conair…I have never ever bought one of there products that have worked and they are all crappy. I have a remmington straitener and it has lasted me a really long time. I have had it about two years and it still works like new and it is small and not bulky at all. I just got mine at Kmart and I think I paid around 30 bucks for it but it is worth it. The best straitener that you can get that is out there is a chi straitener but those are really expensive, my sister paid like $150 for hers but they are even better than the one that I have if you are willing to pay that much for it.
I have heard from a friend that the Remington Emi mini straightner works well ,and she said you can order it from amazon from around $17.00 new. You could save up and buy a CHI ,they are truly amazing and will do wonders on curly hair, but if your looking for a new one soon, then this could be for you .

ya conair sucks. all there stuff breaks fast
i would recommend buying a good quality straightner once rather than buying a $20 every time urs breaks. plus dont get a mini one cuz that takes a long time when its so small
Tigi Beadhead, Zoe, and Revlon hav some good full sized ones for around $20-30ish, so you can get one of those
The best ive had are conair and revlon
