Best Flat Irons? (does this look good)Titanium? Ceramic?
Okay I’m going to be buying a good hair straightener from ebay tomorrow
and I need your opinion or personal experience.
First to start with I have thick curly hair
this is the Iron I’m going to probably get
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=130260755717
Its titanium
and this is what the Carin Titanium Irons says about it
(t works much better then usual ceramic plates! And the reason why it is better is because TITANIUM PLATES are much smoother and stronger, and what’s more important: IT PROVIDES YOU WITH INFRARED HEAT and MOST NEGATIVE IONS.)
So any of you use titanium before? or do you think ceramic is better?
tell me your opinion on the flat irons

The CHI breaks easily and has a very limited warranty. Try the Sedu. That is what I use and my hair is nothing but thick curls…..
I can take it from this

In about 30 minutes (which is amazingly fast for me). plus i can keep it straight for 2-3 days with minimal touchups! It is great in humidity too. I blow dry my hair, smooth on some heat protectant (CHI Infra Treatment Thermal Protective) and straighten. It costs $115 with free shipping and a free flat iron heatproof holder! (It’s totally worth the price!)
(Go to http://www.folica.com and read the reviews on the CHI vs the Sedu.
Sedu rating- 3206 (80%) reviewers rated this product "The Best" (5-star)
CHI rating- 742 (55%)reviewers rated this product "The Best" (5-star)
Need I say more??)
Ps- With a flatiron you get what you pay for. A $30 wal mart iron is going to fry your hair. I speak from experience!!
I have also used the Chi and love it!
Ooooh no. DONT get that one. I use to have it. Get a ceramic iron. They are the best ones. And they dont damage hair. And leave it really straight. I recommend the True Ceramic Pro. It can be a little pricy. But well worth it. Its amazing! Good luck=)
I would use basic ceramic plates, they work just as well but dont make your hair smell.GHD’s are fantatic!!!!!!!
