Can the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron be used in Ireland and the UK?
Here is the item in question: http://www.folica.com/Solia_Tourmalin_d1558.html
It’s a Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron (1/14") and it gives a list of all countries it can be used in. It’s plug type is ‘A’ and it has 110-120V 50/60Hz. The list says it can be used in the following countries:
USA, Canada, Mexico and the following countries: American Samoa, Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, S?o Paulo area), Canada, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Micronesia, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Okinawa, Palmyra Atoll, Panama, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Tahiti, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, United States of America, Venezuela, Virgin Islands.
It doesn’t say it can be used in Ireland or the UK and it refers to other models that can be used in these countries but I was wondering if anyone has a Solia and they live in the UK and Ireland? Can you change the plug type? Would it work? Thanks in advance!

There is a conversion plug you can buy, one for Ireland and a different one for the UK. Find out if the iron can handle that. Most electronic shops etc.. sell the plugs.
