Does anyone know if GHD flat irons work on African American hair? If not, what’s the best besides the Chi?
I used the True Ceramic Pro for years and it finally broke. By now, I’m sure there are several more flat irons that have real ceramic plates and probably work better on Black hair.

Let me be straight with you. People say they have curly hair, but there hair is really wavy and not curly. let me tell you, my hair is CURLY. and ironically, i’m middle eastern and usually they have straight hair. but mine is super super curly.i tried the chi, and no if you have curly hair don’t bother getting it… i also tried the sedu.. and it works the first day, and blah it sucks.. finally i got the RUSK. it’s amazing!! i love it!!!! i recommend it for any one with extremely curly hair, it adds shine and everything.
Hey! I have a chi, it works great by the way! I also have really thin hair. When I was asking about the 2 different brands, my stylist told me that the GHD’s work better on thicker, courser hair. I have thin blond hair, so i opted for the chi.
