Hair Straighteners/ Flat Irons?
Okay so I need a new hair straightener and it seems like I’ve been threw them all. I am highly considering breaking down and buying a good high end one. I’ve heard all about the CHI but I heard they break easily…I’m not sure if that’s true or not. The one I’m considering getting is The Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron…anyone know if it’s good?? Please Help

Yes it is very good! I’ve had one for over a year now and I love it. Everyone I talk to that has had one loves theirs too. It’s definitely worth the money because it doesn’t damage your hair like a lot of other flat irons will.
Hope this helped!
Could you answer mine, please?

Ive had my CHI since 9th grade (4 years ago) It works amazingly. If you dont get a CHI get something higher end like the CHI and try to get a temperature setting on it. Thats the one downfall to CHI’s most dont have temperature control.
i have this remington straightner its last me two years no problem and works amazing this is the one i have http://www.remington-store.com/product_detail.asp?CAT=&SKW=S-1051d&T1=REM+S-1051D
i actually have a solia flat iron. i think its a good flat iron but it isnt the best. it does straighten hair well and my hair feel soft after but i don’t think its the best flat iron out there. i wouldn’t repurchase it.
i think chi flat irons are pretty good and don’t think they break easily if you take care of them (not dropping it, storing it properly, etc) a few of my friends have one and theirs is still in good condition
Hey!
You should totally get a CHI. My mom and I have been using it for 3 years. We have really curly and frizzy hair. The CHI works wonders. We probably have spent twice as much experiment with cheap ones that the actual CHI. It is soo good. It broke once at a hotel, since the outlet blew out the CHI. We went to Beauty Express, gave them the box, and they gave us a new one. Don’t listen to the people who say Amika’s are so much better. They’re not! They’re more and the people at the kiosk’s in the mall bug the crap out of me!

Any hair straightener that has a high temperature works good. Also the ceramic ones are much better for your hair and kill it less. Remember flat irons cause ALOT of damage to your hair so i highly suggest using a heat protectant whenever you straighten your hair and try not to straighten it alot. Use a deep conditioner often and don’t use harsh chemicals such as dye one your hair. TRUST ME YOU DONT WANT TO KILL YOUR HAIR.
hope I helped (:
well it;s not so mush the iron but the stuff you are useing on your hair. You always should use a straightener spray to protect you hair. i hopt this helps. and that a good one too.. chi good very good
I would go for the Solia, it’s one of the highest rated flat iron out there right now.
