how do i clean my flat iron plates?
I have a flat iron with ceramic (?) plates. While using on my daughter’s hair, with pressing oil, the oil left marks (stains) on my plates. How do I clean this off?

You should not be using any harsh chemicals on the plates. Turn your iron on its highest setting and flat iron a wet washcloth (make sure the cloth is totally wet or it will burn!!!) It cleans the plates with the steam (careful not to burn yourself) and removes buildup that make the iron sticky but will not damage to the plates!
A good flat iron is an investment and you want to make sure to take good care of it so it lasts.
