Review of Wigo 1in Flat Iron
***See Additional note below*** This is a review and mini hair tutorial featuring the Ulta Exclusive Wigo Ceramic and Tourmaline Titanium Flat Iron. It’s available at Ulta stores and Ulta.com for .99. Definitely worth the money, and I urge you to give it a try. ***Additional Note*** I want to emphasize that this is the Wigo CERAMIC AND TOURMALINE flat iron with titanium techonlogy. This is NOT the same as Wigo’s “Professional Cermaic Flat Iron”. Please do not mistake them. There are many bad online reviews for the Wigo standard flat iron, but the ceramic and tourmaline iron is different, and in fact gets good reviews. I simply wanted to do a review on the Ulta version, because I was unsure as to whether I should buy it, so I thought a review would be helpful to others. I definitely like this iron, and will continue to use it. I hope you find it works for you too! Song: “Through the Fire” by Nina For more info, visit my blog at ckrrealm.blogspot.com

the great thing about it is that its really expensive, but on sale, CUZ IT SUCKS!!!
obviously we have different hair types, cuz it works great for me. So just cuz it sucks for you, doesn’t mean it’s a bad product for everyone. I love both my Wigo flat iron and my Wigo 1 in curling iron and I’m not theonly one who likes Wigo products. My friend uses them as well. I’m sorry this one didn’t work for you, but you don’t have to be bitter that it works for others…
dude, you can always return it ^
on the plus side, i think i’m going to go but one. mine is InfraShine and it’s warped and loose and chipped but still works pretty good. so, yea. i think i’ll give Wigo a try. btw, what do you think of the Lena Flat Iron? My choices are between the two
I’m not familiar with Lena, but looking at the specs, it seems the max temp is only 400, whereas the Wigo goes to 430. Also, the Wigo has floating plates (the Lena doesn’t seem to in the picture) that allow curls as well as flat ironing, so if that’s important to you, I’d say go for the Wigo. In the end, try them both out. As you said, it can be returned. I actually bought the Zoe first and HATED it, so I got the Wigo. Good luck finding yours!
yea, i saw the Zoe, and thought it looked a bit akward; so very long and funky looking. great tutorial btw. oh, and i prefer curling my hair with a flat iron more than a curling iron. idk why
I tried the Zoe because I liked how the ironing plates were longer. I figured it would make ironing faster. I think in the end they made the design too slim. The “cool tip” does not stay cool, in fact it gets really hot. I got burned on it, not bad, but it hurt. And the flat ironing capabilities were mediocre at best…
oh, im sorry.
didn’t realized other people had horrible hair, ha, my bad.
wow…that’s the best you had…
And you might want to check your grammar before posting your comments…
0hmyGoshness, i kinda agree with you. Flat irons are kinda meant for straightening hair. If it can only straighten straight hair, what the hell is it good for if it can’t straighten curly hair??? lol i think thats the whole point of it so i wouldn’t purchase the wigo either. I think decent straighteners are atleast 60 dollars.
Technically the Wigo retails for $110, but this specific model sells for ~$70 at online beauty supply companies, so that makes it above $60. Please keep in mind the important note in the description box. This is NOT the standard Wigo. And believe me, it works well. It is the most used hair tool in my “Arsenal” haha. You don’t have to pay boatloads to get a good iron. Then again, I have naturally wavy hair, not curly, so I have no idea how it behaves on curly hair.
For those interested, the original Chi is on sale for $99 at most Ulta stores. And keep in mind the other brands. The beauty of the US of A is that we can return stuff we don’t like, in many counries you can’t. So why pay more when you don’t have to?
you need to flat iron smaller pieces
U look like the mona lisa not being mean or anything she pretty . and idk if i spelled mona right did i
did you put heat protectant
Yes, I use chi silk infusion after every shower, so it’s always in my hair.
i bought a wigo for 30 and it worrked AHMAZZIINNGG!
