Ceramic Hair Straightener Iron

What flat iron is better, Ceramic or Titanium?

I’m looking into buying a new flat iron, and saw this babybliss iron. It has really good reviews. ofcourse there are some that are not that good but overall the rating was good, although it caught my attention that the plates are titanium…so I was wondering if that’s better than ceramic. I mean I have medium/long thick hair, but of course I don’t want something that’s going to burn my hair or melt my ends. I know straightening does cause the ends to split but over time, not in one use!

After reading reviews and asking hair stylists themselves I’d suggest to go with a Titanium straightener. Not only do they last longer but you’ll receive better results in less time!

Ceramic hair straighteners help to reduce static electricity in your hair so that you have less frizz and more shine. The straighteners using ceramic plates are able to smooth your hair with the heat. Ceramic straightening tools have plates that heat evenly. You do not need to worry that some sections will be too hot and thus burn your hair. You can have a straight and smooth look throughout your hair. Ceramic hair straighteners use infra-red to heat. This helps to keep moisture in your hair rather than drying out the hair.

Straighteners using titanium offer you a strong and durable option for fixing your hair. They do not break easily. They are lightweight and easy to use. Additionally, titanium does not erode easily and so you will have a product that will last.

A titanium straightener holds the heat very well. They also heat up very evenly making it possible for you to style your hair with ease. You can get rid of your curls and waves for the evening and anytime that you want. This type of straighener has the ideal level of heat. You will not need to worry that the straighter will damage your hair. It will be easy to get the hairstyle you want.

Hair straighteners that are made of titanium are usually preferred by a lot of hair stylists and salons. This is because the metal plates that are attached to the clamps of these hair straighteners have the option to heat up right away. When it heats up, the user can save time because there is less of a waiting period for this kind of hair straighteners.

As part of the plates in hair straighteners, ceramics provide the newbie hair stylist a great and easy way to start off with this routine. Ceramic plated hair straighteners usually provide off a gentle start of warm temperature which will eventually spread to a soft but hot feeling. With ceramic hair straighteners, the waiting time for the temperature to get higher is pretty longer than titanium hair straighteners, so not a lot of salons like to use it.

However, it is excellent for those who want a leisurely time styling their hair – or even for those who are unsure about the kind of look they are going after. Any avid user of hair straighteners might choose to go for the titanium kind because of the even distribution of heat and the professional looking results, thus eliminating any events of scorching either hair or scalp and sacrificing quality hair style. With a good quality titanium flat iron, you will surely end up with a hair straightener that will do wonders for your ‘do!

I"m not sure but I use a heat protectant spray on my hair and I suspect the hair products you use will have more impact than the material of the flat iron
