What is the best hair straightening iron for curly, coarse hair, which is a bit brittle?
I was thinking about purchasing a Bio Ionic iron… I’m really interested in one that won’t damage my hair any further, as I’ve had 2 relaxers in my hair a couple of years ago and a few strands of blonde hair in my naturally brown one..so it’s in a really odd shape now. I would really appreciate help from those who have my hair type.

I have the same type of hair and my Sedu is AMAZING. Plus, it’s incredibly lightweight which is wonderful since my hair is really long. Solia is another great brand.
What’s great is that at the links below you can read the reviews for yourself and see hundreds of before/after customer pics. That’s what really sold me on my Sedu!

Invest in a nice one. The hotter the better. When they are really hot, 400+ degrees it locks moisture into your hair which will help with the brittleness. I got mine from sephora. It was $160 but well worth the money. It makes my hair shinny and soft and straighntens it well. Here is a link to the one I have and some other good one.

i had a chi but i wouldn’t get it if i were you because for my hair (and my hair is horribly curly) it was too thin so you should go to Sally’s beauty supply and get a good thick hair straitener
sorry that i dont have a specific brand
chi iron
Chi and Sedu has had great reviews.
I personally really like GHD and Bio Ionic. Both of these are pretty expensive but well worth the investment. What ever brand you end up getting make sure that it is ceramic. It is better for your hair. Also you should try to use a straighting serum that protects from heat damage.
