What is the best (professional) wet-to-dry flat iron?
I have thick, curly frizzy hair and I have some highlights that I want to preserve. I have a cheap consumer flat iron which is slowly ruining my hair and I want to find a high quality salon quality iron to invest in so that I can 1) protect my hair 2) get a style that will last all day and 3) save time of blow drying and straightening separately. Thanks!

There is not professional wet to dry iron. ALL will damage your hair so badly. A professional would never use one in the salon. Just invest in a CHI or a step up from that, a GHD. I have hair like yours and damageing it with a wet to dry will make it even more unruly! Please don’t use one.
just get an average flat iron it depends on how you use it. put the heat on medium because the highest heat will damage your hair. take your time to slowly slide the flat iron from top to bottom. start with the hair at the bottom of your head it’s much easier.
