Ceramic Hair Straightener Iron

Which is the best flat iron to buy?

I’m looking to buy a new flat iron and I don’t know which one to get. Also my hair is medium length, not too thick and wavy. Thanks

get a paul mitchel flat iron.
it has ceramic plates and you can adjust the heat to your hair type.

i prefer it to the chi. the heating elements in the chi often break!

  2. marlene says:

None.. Flat irons can destroy hair and in some cases the damage is no reversible. If you like your hair, it is better not to use such a thing.. :)

  3. Bobby M says:

i hear chi’s are really good but also expensive

  4. QueSeraSera says:

Get a ceramic one (I’ve heard they distribute the heat more evenly), with variable temperature controls (*not* high, med, low — degrees!), 1" size, and a good heat protecting spray or serum for your hair.

Most people will say Chi is the best and others break quickly, but mine is *not* Chi and I’ve had it forever – no problems.

I do recommend Chi Silk Infusion for protection and shine on your hair though. It’s expensive, but a 6oz bottle will last you a year (using a half-dime size – I have long hair).

I think the ANDIS Pro Ceramic 1 inch High Temperature Flat Iron with Variable Heat Control is the best iron for you to buy.

you should try the new remington’s new fabric covered flat iron!!!it works so good and does not damage your hair you can get it at wal mart for about 45

All the ones you listed aren’t that good they brake quickly i would recommend solia or sedu they are both good and long lasting

The only two I’ve heard of from your list is the Andis & the HAI. I heard both are good.

Since you don’t have thick or hard to straighten hair, I think you’ll be safe going with the Andis. I haven’t used it, but I’ve read good things about it & I do a lot of reviewing, lol.

I personally like Remmington. The one with Teflon is good, but sometimes hard to manage. I’d go with the Ceramic + Tourmaline + Titanium one, the Protect & Shine, or the Shine Therapy. Other drugstore brands that are good: Vidal Sassoon & Revlon. Try to stay away from Conair.

If you’re looking for more expensive ones, I’d go with GVP ($60), Solia ($75), Sedu ($110), or T3 ($120).

I have thick, curly, hard to straighten hair, & I use the Sedu. (:

Hope I helped & good luck!
